When we gathered in Walvis Bay for the first Youth in Oil and Gas Summit in July 2024, I don’t think any of us fully grasped the wave we were setting into motion. That inaugural event was more than a conference, I believe it was a declaration. A declaration that Namibia’s youth are ready, willing, and more than capable of shaping the future of our energy sector.

The overwhelming success and feedback from that day reminded us that there is a deep hunger for inclusion, for opportunity, and for knowledge. That hunger is what drives us forward, and it is with that same energy that we are building the 2nd Edition of the Summit, set for the 25th and 26th of July 2025, once again here in Walvis Bay.

This year’s theme, “Drilling into the Future: Empowering Youth in Namibia’s Oil & Gas Revolution,” captures exactly where we’re headed. We are not here to observe the energy transition, we are here to lead it. Our Summit is expanding in scale, ambition, and impact. Attendees can expect two days of intense dialogue, technical workshops, high-level panel discussions, and real networking opportunities with industry leaders, operators, policymakers, and investors.

This platform is designed for the youth, by the youth, but its power lies in its collaboration with seasoned professionals, institutions, and corporate partners who truly believe in investing in the next generation.
